Small horus progress

Here's a couple projects I'm tinkering with.

My version of a gutter friar

I tried some different  textures on this one. Was trying to get it done for the wrath of kings cool mini comp. Life got in the way a bit and doesn't look like I stand a chance. Oh well. I need to start taking better pics too.

Another taste of horus

I picked up a fw event fig at adepticon this year.  It's a nice sculpt.  I haven't painted any horus in awhile and he looked like a perfect candidate.  I sculpted an eye on the knee pad and went a little darker this time around.  I probably add some lettering to the little streamers later

Crystal brush 15

Well another crystal brush has come and gone. Some beautiful entries this year.  But there wasn't as much European representation this time.  Which is good for me because I got to slide into bronze with my worm killing lady :)

More nurgly knight

Finished sculpting the other leg plate. I still need to add some puss beads before priming.  I hope to get started on the shoulder pads next.

Back to papa nurgle

Several friends are working on imperial knights.  So I'm putting my nurgle twist on a  knight. Here's my sculpted shin plate. I'm not going really crazy with mods. I want to sculpt a boney rib cage on a shoulder pad and make a head more like the forge world nurgle dread.

Paint it purple

Here's my latest project.  Still lots to do. Hope to have her done by the end of the month.  Got a fun base in mind if I can find the time. 

P3 gencon duel

Here's my entry for the p3 grandmaster paint competition.  Had a blast. I got a gold which is always nice.  The base was a big step for me.  I love making bases. I had to hurry on this one. I had only a week after work to make and paint it. Hopefully I can do better next year.  Now it's time to plan for crystal brush.
