The start of horus

What good is having sons of horus without horus? I picked him up at adepticon.  Not a fan of painting black,  so it took some time to get geared up for it.  The base it black and German grey from Vallejo.  Then highlights were added with my base sons green.  Now I'm shading with almost black. The gold is just chainmail with washes.

Got a little more done on the rocks.  Plan on painting a tartan pattern on his butt cover.  I'm going to try the green from the Gunn clan.  My grandfather traced our family back to them.  So I thought it would be neat.  

More green

Here's a dude I worked on over the 4th of July weekend.  I think I'll order some decals for gencon.  Feeling a little lazy, don't want to hand paint all my eye symbols. Plus I need to put them on my tanks before weathering them.

Time to get back to dread

Well, after taking a long break from my dread, it's time to finish it up. Hoping to enter it at gencon.  Also, I've been building more retro armor.

Old school

Well, with the old is new fw 30k stuff.  I thought I'd did out my old rhinos from back in the day.  I remember when you got three in a box. I figured they'd make fair additions to my small horus army.  Got a few old land raiders to clean up too.

For the upcoming p3 comp at gencon,  I'm trying my hand at this guy. Never been that great at red. So it's a learning experience.

Zombie ranger

Here's a sculpture I did for crystal brush.  It's based on a Vietnam era zombie ranger. I might cast him sometime.
